Save Money With Improved Energy Efficiency
If you are upgrading from an older system there's a good chance you'll be able to save substantial amounts on your system's running costs year after year. Our systems are capable of energy efficiencies of up to 20.5 SEER, meaning it costs less than half as much to run as an older 10 SEER system. Not only does it save you money, but it helps the environment, too.
Digital Setback Thermostat
Recommended by the EPA as one of the simplest ways to improve the energy efficiency of an existing system, digital programmable thermostats help by being able to automate the heating and cooling of your home. A digital setback thermostat is designed for people with fixed schedules that take them in and out of the home. With it, you can program the temperature to set-back when you are not at home.
Attic Ventilator
An attic ventilator exhausts the hot air from your attic and brings in cooler air from the outside. This circulation of air greatly reduces the heat load on your home allowing your air conditioner to work more efficiently and to cool your home faster. Adding an attic ventilator to your home will save you money and make you more comfortable.
Adding Additional Returns
Adding additional returns to your system allows for greater supply air into your home, resulting in better airflow and comfort for your family. The benefits you will receive by taking care of this problem include: quieter operation, better airflow, fewer repairs, longer life of your equipment, lower utility bills and, best of all, greater comfort.
Preventative Maintenance Service
Preventative maintenance can help extend the life expectancy of your system. Expertly tuned systems can cost as much as 25% percent less to run, compared to unmaintained systems! It can help avoid emergency air conditioning breakdown call-outs on the hottest days, when you need it most.
Available Federal, Local and Utility Energy Efficiency Incentives
The systems you now use or choose to have installed may qualify for energy efficiency savings.
Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credits (EESA -2009) Updated to include 2009 Stimulus Plan Incentives
Click here to learn which investments and improvements qualify for up to hundreds of dollars in tax rebates. Some are retroactive to 2008, others are available through 2016.
Additional State, Local and Utility Incentives
The Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) allows you to select your state to learn about additional energy savings for which you may qualify.
